Previous projects
Over the course of my career, I have immersed myself in the science and practice of water‑resource engineering. My first foray was as a wastewater‑treatment intern at Aquanos Energy Ltd. in Rishon Le‑Tzyon, where I researched and piloted microalgae‑based bioreactors to polish industrial effluents. That experience taught me how to design and troubleshoot biological processes that not only meet stringent discharge limits but also recover value from waste streams. Building on that foundation, I joined VDP SRL in Rome as Environmental Impact Assessment Editor and Contact Manager. There I led the preparation of EIA documentation for the EuroAsia Interconnector and other major cross‑border infrastructure projects, coordinating with Italian and Israeli ministries to ensure every study addressed habitat protection, water‑body integrity and social considerations. My role demanded fluency in complex regulatory frameworks and an ability to translate technical findings into clear recommendations for engineers, policymakers and local communities. In parallel, I’ve engaged with the built environment as a Project Developer at Studio Anav, where I managed structural, architectural and HVAC designs through detailed Building Energy Modelling. While energy optimization was the primary goal, I always wove in water‑sensitive design—rainwater harvesting, greywater reuse and landscape‑scale runoff control—to achieve truly integrated sustainability. More recently, at MLG Consulting I’ve served as a technical and cultural liaison between Italian and Israeli engineering, architecture and hi‑tech firms.
