Product description
Sun Fresh Water, LLC, in partnership with the Center for Advanced Engineering Design and Development of The City College of New York, in collaboration with the Center for Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences of the State University of New York at Albany, has developed several systems to meet the global challenge of securing a sustainable source of potable water,
Each of the potable water systems are based on Nature’s methodology of fresh water production - distillation. We have developed systems of desalination via distillation to provide a sustainable source of fresh, clean, potable water. Each of these systems only require two components - a source of contaminated water (Salt, brackish, or otherwise contaminated) and solar energy.
The Solar/Thermal Distillation/Desalination System: Photovoltaic panels or linear parabolic mirrored troughs provide power to the distillation tower in which salt, brackish, or otherwise contaminated water is vaporized separating the potable water From the contaminants and transfers the vapors to a condensation tower from which potable water exits. System is of high production; scalable; inexpensive; and sustainable and ideal for purification of salt or brackish water for human consumption, agricultural production, or industrial application - farms, hotels, individual communities, data centers, and others.
The Thermal Distillation/Desalination System: Provides the ability to convert existing or planned Thermal Power Plants Into hybrid, producers of electricity AND portable water for large urban, industrial, or agricultural production.
The Brine Reduction/Elimination System: Provides the ability for Reverse Osmosis Facilities to reduce or eliminate the need for brine disposal and converts this residue into revenue generation though the incorporation of our mineral segregation/extraction system.
